Our Dream Team
Brad’s connection with apparel began early. Saturday mornings at his father’s clothing store with the tailor everyone adored. This sparked a lifelong love for fashion, appreciation for clean lines and obsession with the subtle details that make a piece truly special.
In 2008, Brad introduced bamboo as a natural performance fabric through GUATS Life Style, a brand he co-founded at the forefront of the emerging athleisure movement that was listed at Sporting Life, Simons, the Bay’s White Room and specialty retailers across North America.
Two years later, Brad reimagined traditional sleepwear with Bamjamz, a pioneering sleep-to-lounge concept that sold out in two weeks of launching at Holt Renfrew and expanded to Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and luxury retailers across North America.
He has appeared in ELLE and Chatelaine, on eTalk, and at TIFF (Toronto Film Festival) and The Golden Globes celebrity lounges.
Brad launched SLEEP THE LABEL in 2026 and splits his time between Blue Mountains, Canada and Playa Avellanas, Costa Rica.
Carol loves the drama of couture, the freedom of dance and the tiny details that transform something beautiful into something cherished.
Quality fabrics, construction, fit — that moment when a piece falls exactly as it should and you notice the shift as someone stands a little differently in their own body — the posture, the eyes, that smile. It’s everything all at once.
Carol was instrumental in helping Brad take his first sleepwear line Bamjamz from concept to production. The result was a athletic-inspired take on sleepwear that introduced the concept of loungewear to national retailers in Canada and the US.
With SLEEP THE LABEL she’s designed a stunning line of modern silhouettes that exude a subtle sensuousness wrapped in an easy, flattering fit that caresses the body, calms the mind and nurtures the soul.
Carol has been designing and presenting lines for 25 years, with her pieces listed at the leading luxury retailers in all major markets across North America.
Leila embodies an inclusive approach to modern elegance — blending style and precision into pieces that are coveted by plus-size women across North America.
In her work for SLEEP THE LABEL, fashion design and biomechanics come together in one stunning package — creating beautifully designed, exceptionally well-fitting clothing for every body.
Leila co-founded the Size Inclusion in Fashion Lab at Parsons and quite literally wrote the book on Plus Size Patternmaking for Womenswear (Bloomsbury, 2026) — the first specialist textbook dedicated to plus-size patternmaking.
She’s transformed Carol’s designs into a plus-size range of beautiful pieces that skim every curve on every body perfectly, with proportions that deliver the intended silhouette, drape and fit across a broad range of sizes and body types.
