Our Signature Bamboo Performance Blend
Warmth, moisture, movement and hours against the skin demand more from sleepwear. Our Bamboo Performance Blend is designed to release heat and moisture before they build up, move effortlessly with your body and feel gentle against sensitive skin. A perfect fabric for hot sleepers, hot flashes, night sweats or sensitive skin.
Sleepwear sits against your skin for hours, often in warmth and moisture. That’s why 94% of our blend comes from plant-based fibres. We eliminated polyester and nylon, and limited synthetic content to the 6% spandex needed for stretch and shape recovery.
We chose lyocell from bamboo — rather than conventional bamboo rayon or viscose found in most bamboo apparel — to meet our standard for comfort, performance and lasting quality. This premium, next-generation fibre made from bamboo cellulose gives the blend its silky soft, cool feel and fluid drape. In our Bamboo Performance Blend, it helps heat escape, wicks moisture and feels gentle against sensitive skin.
Cotton adds familiar softness, substance and stability. It gives the fabric a more grounded, flattering drape while preserving its breathability and lightness, without feeling synthetic or clingy.

The unique softness comes from the fibre itself — bamboo lyocell is spun smooth and round, so our Bamboo Performance Blend glides across your skin rather than feeling scratchy.
Independent tests have proven the fabric to be pH-balanced for skin, with no detectable formaldehyde, heavy metals or azo dyes.

Tests have also confirmed high breathability—air flows freely through the fabric, releasing body heat and moisture vapour instead of being trapped and building up.

These are the questions we asked and what the tests confirmed:
VERIFIED: Cool to the touch, with an immediate cooling sensation.
- Test: Contact cool feeling — GB/T 35263-2017
- Result: Q-max: 0.17 J/(cm²·s)
- Meaning: Q-max measures peak heat transfer at the instant a warm surface touches a cooler textile
VERIFIED: Highly breathable, with the ability to let air, heat and moisture vapour move freely through the fabric.
- Test: Air permeability — ISO 9237:1995; 100 Pa; 20 cm²
- Result: 205 mm/s
- Meaning: Air permeability measures how readily air passes through a fabric under controlled pressure
VERIFIED: Allows excess body heat to escape rather than getting trapped and building up against the skin.
- Test: Thermal resistance — ISO 11092:2014
- Result: Rct: 0.0214 m²·K/W
- Meaning: Thermal resistance measures how strongly a textile resists dry heat passing through it. This low result is consistent with a light fabric designed to avoid unnecessary insulation
VERIFIED: Vapour is released freely through the fabric when warmth and moisture increase, rather than sweat being trapped and building up against the skin.
- Test: Water-vapour resistance — ISO 11092:2014
- Result: Mean Ret: 2.965 m²·Pa/W across three specimens
- Meaning: Lower resistance means vapour encounters less obstruction
VERIFIED: Moisture wicking — classified as fast absorbing and quick drying
- Test: Moisture-management properties — AATCC TM195
- Result: Average wetting time 3.59s top and 3.56s bottom. Absorption rates 64.12%/s and 70.82%/s. Spread to a 20 mm radius at approximately 3.15 mm/s.
- Meaning: The test measures how quickly liquid wets the fabric, how fast it is absorbed and how widely it spreads. Faster spreading distributes moisture across a larger area, helping it dry more efficiently than if it stayed concentrated
VERIFIED: Pre-shrunk for a reliable fit, with less than 1% shrinkage after three washes in laboratory testing.
- Test: Dimensional stability — AATCC TM135 (fabric) and TM150 (garment)
- Result: After three washes: 0.8% shrinkage in length, 0.5% in width
- Meaning: Dimensional-stability testing measures change after controlled laundering
VERIFIED: Highly resistant to fading and colour transfer from perspiration
- Test: Colourfastness to perspiration — AATCC TM15:2021e
- Result: Colour change 4.5/5. Colour staining 4.5/5 across acetate, cotton, nylon, polyester, acrylic and wool.
- Meaning: A score of 4.5 on the five-point scale indicates very little change or staining under the test conditions
VERIFIED: Gentle on sensitive skin — free from tested heavy metals and harsh residues, with a skin-friendly pH balance
- Test: Formaldehyde ISO 14184-1; pH ISO 3071; extractable heavy metals DIN EN 16711-2; prohibited aromatic amines EN ISO 14362-1
- Result: Formaldehyde not detected — below the 5 mg/kg detection limit. pH 6.2. Twelve extractable heavy metals not detected. Twenty-four prohibited aromatic amines not detected — below the 5 mg/kg detection limit
- Meaning: These tests screen specific chemical parameters relevant to indicating the safety and impact of chemicals in textiles worn against the skin
VERIFIED: Meets Canadian textile flammability requirements
- Test: Canadian Textile Flammability Regulations SOR/2016-194 using CAN/CGSB-4.2 No. 27.5-2023
- Result: The plain-surface fabric did not ignite.
- Meaning: A regulatory-compliance result for the tested fabric. Not a claim that the garment is flame-resistant or protective apparel. Does not mean that you should expose your garments or yourself to flame (fire) and always practise caution in the presence of fire
